Hidden River House

A short walk above the site of the cabins sits a 3 storey 17th Century house, steeped in history.

It is the perfect group accommodation for weddings, large get togethers, Hen and Stag Doos and special occasions.

You can rent the whole house to sleep 16 people.

You can also rent the wings separately to sleep 8 people in each wing.

Each wing has a hot tub overlooking the cabin valley and a beautiful outside space.

Each wing has:

High spec TVs in the bedrooms
Characterful exposed beams
Spectacular views of the valley below

The house is close to local amenities and 6 miles from the local town of Longtown.

There are river and woodland walks close to the house aswell as fishing included in the price on the river Lyne.

Foxglove Cabin

Foxglove cabin is equipped with 3 Super King bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom in the spacious open plan kitchen and living area, great for group accommodation. This cabin has under floor heating. Sleeping up to 8 people this cabin is perfect for family holidays, romantic getaways or a break with friends.

A clear view wood burner in the middle of the open plan living/kitchen area will keep you snug all year round and there is also a large hot tub on the decking from which you can watch the river Lyne and try and spot any fish rising or kingfishers going about their day.

Luxury Bed Linen, pillows, duvet and soft towels are provided for you during your stay and high spec flat screen TV/DVD and fully integrated open plan kitchen with all facilities needed are all provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We have provided a freezer for your catch of the day, and a boot room to put wellies after an adventurous day of fishing, walking or biking.

Limited logs are provided for your stay, you can purchase further logs and firelighters onsite. The Cabins are unable to get mobile phone coverage but we have been able to install WIFI in the cabin so you can stay connected.

Bluebell Cabin

Bluebell cabin is a beautiful secluded cabin and is equipped with 4 Super King bedrooms in the open plan living room, great for group accommodation.  This cabin has under floor heating. Named after the amazing bluebells that appear in our wood every year, Bluebell is nestled in-between Kingfisher and Foxglove cabin, but far away enough to feel seclusion and privacy. Some groups like to rent both Foxglove (sleeps 8) and Bluebell cabin together being able to accommodate 16 people in a large group.

Dog Friendly Accommodation

Bluebell cabin is dog friendly and there is a fence located around the cabin to keep large dogs contained. Please be aware that small dogs may be able to get under this fence. As a group accommodation cabin it is perfect for dogs as they will enjoy the sights and sounds of the rivers and woodland on your doorstep. Directly in front of the cabin you have a fantastic view of the river Lyne and it is a great cabin for fishing as you are only a stones throw away from the riverside. Kingfisher Cabin

Kingfisher cabin is perched on the top of a bank, looking down onto the river, giving it a great view of the river. It is nestled in-between Otterstone and Bluebell cabin, but far enough away to feel like you have complete privacy, as is the ethos at Hidden River Cabins. When we say Hidden we mean Hidden and it is perfect for your family holiday.

The cabin has just recently been refurbished to a modern luxurious spec.

Hidden River Cabins are perfect for family holidays, romantic getaway or break with friends. The warm interior will make you feel instantly at home, and relaxed in the stunning surroundings of complete wilderness.

There is an open plan kitchen with all household appliances and a bathroom downstairs with a separate bath and shower.

There are 4 Super King bedrooms upstairs with double beds making the cabin able to sleep up to 8 people, perfect for family holidays lake district. Why not hire a fishing rod from us for £20 and enjoy trying your hand at fishing the river Lyne, or enjoy the fantastic walks up and down the river.

The Otterstone Cabin is situated in a secluded location over looking the Old Mill Race with a stunning river view. It is particularly good for fishing as it overlooks a weir where fish love to lie. Roe Deer Cabin – The log cabin break

Roe Deer Cabin is perfect for romantic log cabin breaks, situated just outside the Lake District National Park. This log cabin with hot tub is named after the numerous sightings of deer in it’s area.

The cabin is equipt with 4 Super Kingsize bedrooms. The cabin has a handsome view looking right down the length of the river, this is also where the heron can sometimes be spotted. If you’re looking for romantic log cabins with hot tubs, look no further.

Sleeping up to 8 people this is the perfect family holiday, romantic log cabin break or getaway with friends. The warm interior will make you feel instantly at home, and allow you to relax in the stunning surroundings of complete wilderness.

Roe Deer cabin is conveniently situated next to our New Hidden River Barn.

Luxury in The Countryside

A clear view wood burner in the middle of the open plan living/kitchen area will keep you snug all year round. There is also a hot tub on the decking from which you can watch the River Lyne and try and spot any fish rising or kingfishers going about their day. There is a bathroom downstairs with a separate bath and shower for maximum comfort and a bathroom upstairs with a shower.

Luxury bed linen, pillows, duvet and soft towels are provided for you during your stay. We have a flat screen TV/DVD and fully integrated open plan kitchen with all facilities provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We have provided a freezer for your catch of the day with a separate fridge and wine cooler. There’s a boot room to put wellies after an adventurous day of fishing, walking or biking. We’re dog friendly and this is also where your dog can sleep if you are bringing pets along with you.

All logs are provided for the duration of your stay, if you run out please let us know and we can bring another load down to you.
