Hidden River House is available to let a whole house sleeping up to 16 people.

Alternatively the house sleeps 8 in either the west or the east wing. With private hot tubs and stunning views of the valley below it is a perfect option for additional guests staying for a wedding or as group accommodation for a special occasion. The house has been completely refurbished is steeped in history, built in the late 17C. It has been used as an army barracks, a dwelling for Old Mill workers and more recently as a farmhouse. It has been finished to a high standard and all fixtures and fittings have been sourced from quality providers. All appliances are of a high quality too and toiletries, towels, bath robes and teas and coffee all provided on arrival.

There are 4 bedrooms in each wing. In the East wing there are 4 double en-suite bedrooms and in the west wing there are 3 double en-suite bedrooms and 1 twin en-suite bedroom. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with either a roll top bath or drop shower.

Each wing has a fully fitted kitchen with everything you would need for group accommodation.

There is a living area with seating for 8 and a wood burner in each wing. Complete with wifi, televisions with blu ray players and wireless speakers for a luxury experience.

Set on 3 floors the house can be rented as one large house to sleep 16 or as 2 separate wings. The house is not dog friendly.

Onsite Catering

We can cater for large groups in our Hidden River Barn, booking is advisable.

On Sundays there is Sunday lunch served from 12pm to 4pm and it really is delicious!
The house is only 45 minutes from the Lake District where there are a wealth of activities.
