Fishing & Bird Watching
Salmon and Trout fishing are available on the River Lyne as well as sea trout and wild trout when fish are in season. The river can be fished using fly fishing methods, spinning or with worms. On your fishing holidays there are a number of great fishing spots and a variety of pools for salmon and trout angling near the lake district. Rod hire is available from us for £20 per rod for the duration of your stay.
There are plenty of activities in the local area for all ages and interests to do on your Lake District log cabin break. From horse riding, biking and zip wiring through the trees, there are plenty of activities to participate in.

Only 25 minutes drive from the cabins, Carlisle is your nearest city with plenty of interesting activities on offer.
Shop, Cinemas and Entertainment
Carlisle offers plenty of local shops and all the High Street names, including top brands, there is plenty of shopping and entertainment close to your self catering accommodation and you also have the great Gretna Gateway outlet village only 15 minutes drive from your log cabins, where you can pick up some bargains from brands such as Ralph Lauren and Gap.

Our luxury log cabins with hot tubs have jacuzzis that stay on all the time ensuring you have the correct temperature and also have jets to create bubbles, a light that flashes different colours in the evening and a temperature control too.
How to find us
We are located just North of Carlisle, close to the Lake District in the heart of Cumbria.
We are available to take guests to cabins from 4 – 7pm on your check in day, please arrive all together with your party for a secure check in, there is a maximum of 2 cars for Roe Deer, Otterstone and Kingfisher cabin and a maximum of 3 cars for Bluebell and Foxglove cabin.HOW TO FIND US
