How to make a booking
Payment & Confirmation

You can book online with a 25% deposit using a debit or credit card.

We also take bookings over the phone using debit or credit card.
Your booking is only confirmed once we have received the 25% deposit. We are unable to hold dates without payment.
Once the deposit has been received, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the dates and information relating to your stay.
The remaining balance, along with the security (damages) deposit, is due one month prior to your arrival date.
Security (Damages) Deposit
The security deposit must be paid with your final balance one month before arrival.

It will be refunded to the original payment card after your stay, provided there are no damages or excessive cleaning required.

If damage is found, you will forfeit your deposit and will be liable for any additional costs exceeding the deposit amount.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking:

Notify us immediately by telephone.

Confirm your cancellation in writing.
Without prejudice to our right to the full rental amount, we will make every effort to re-let the property. If successful, we will refund your payment minus a 20% administration fee (calculated on the total booking amount).
If we are unable to re-let the property for your cancelled dates, you will remain liable for the full rental amount.
We strongly recommend taking out holiday insurance in case you need to cancel and we are unable to offer a refund.
Letting Period

Stays range from 1 night to 3 weeks.

Charges are calculated on a per-night basis.
Occupancy
The number of guests must not exceed the occupancy stated on your booking confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse entry if guest numbers exceed the agreed occupancy. In this case, the booking will be cancelled with full loss of payment.
Linen & Amenities
Linen, towels, and robes are provided, along with a selection of locally sourced toiletries.
Pets
Dogs are welcome in the cabins, barn, and café.
However:

Dogs are not permitted upstairs in the cabins.

Dogs are not allowed on furniture at any time.

The Courtyard properties (including Lavender House) are not pet-friendly.
Smoking Policy
All accommodation and public areas are strictly non-smoking and non-vaping.
Fuel
Logs for the wood burner are provided.
Polite Reminders
To help preserve the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings:

Observe all close fishing periods and size limits.

Record all catches in the book provided.

Please return all Sea Trout over 5lb.

No outdoor fires at any time.

No canoeing or boating on the river.
-
Absolutely no shooting. Guests found using firearms will be asked to leave immediately and their booking will be forfeited.

Do not pick wildflowers.

Please leave the surroundings as you found them for others to enjoy.
The Surroundings
The setting is natural and wild, with inherent hazards such as a fast-flowing river and cliffs.

We cannot accept responsibility for injuries sustained during your stay.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Car Parking

Up to 3 cars per cabin.
-
Up to 4 cars at Hidden River House and Lavender House.

2 cars per Courtyard cottage.

Overflow parking is available behind the Courtyard.
