Hidden River Cabins are perfect honeymoon destinations to relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday in complete wilderness. We offer Honeymoon packages to make your stay extra special and these are outlined below:
Honeymoon Package 1 (Roe Deer, Otterstone or Kingfisher cabin)
3 nights with champagne on ice arranged when you arrive, Rose petals on the bed, red roses the kitchen on arrival: £710 for 2 people.
Honeymoon Package 2 (Bluebell or Foxglove Cabin)
3 nights in the Bluebell or Foxglove cabin with champagne on ice on arrival, roses in the kitchen, petals on the bed and an extra large luxurious hot tub £830 for 2 people. Prices above don't include special holidays or Christmas.
The log cabins have been built using local timber and all have their own unique style and river view, you can choose which cabin would suit you better for your honeymoon and we can advise on which cabin may be best for you.
All of our cabins are suitable as honeymoon log cabins due to the location and romantic nature of the log cabins, luxurious interiors, and a roaring wood burner are the perfect back drop for an unforgettable holiday.
We pride ourselves on providing seclusion and comfort for your honeymoon destinations, as we know how important your once in a lifetime honeymoon holiday can be. Why not relax in your luxury log cabins with a glass of champagne enjoying the wilderness of the rolling cumbrian hills and quiet river in front of you.
Feel free to explore the surrounding area with miles of walks on your doorstep or why not venture out to the lake district to see the sights?
You can also take advantage of the fishing on the river which is included in your stay, you are able to rent a rod from us for £20 and fish miles of the river on the doorstep of your cabin. We also offer bike hire if you would like to explore the border area bike trails. Gretna Green is only 10 minutes drive from the cabins where you can visit the famous blacksmiths shop or have a fantastic lunch a the Smiths hotel. Carlisle is also only 25 minutes drive away which boasts some great shops, a cinema and brilliant restaurants. There is also horse riding in the area and Bailey Mill horse riding school can take you on some tranquil treks in the hills of the middle of nowhere, not far from your cabin. There is plenty of wildlife in the area and guests often see herons, otters, kingfishers and roe deer in the woods, in the spring the wild garlic and bluebells also come out and turning the woods blue.
Dogs are welcome at the honeymoon log cabins and there is no extra charge for them. Let them relax next to the cosy wood burner whilst you can watch the shooting stars in the clear country skies. Many people have commented on how well they can see the stars at night so keen astrologers don't forget your telescopes!
